Moving...

Getting back to this...

I've said it time & time again... I'm going to start posting more  -or- I'm going to start posting again. Well, I'll say it again...

I'm going to get back to posting!

My goal is going to be to post once a week for the next few weeks. I'm busy planning a big baby shower, so I know that will consume a lot my time. So once a week until that's over but after that I'm hoping to post a few times a week. I'm working towards doing a craft show in October, so I will be crafting a lot and will share it all with you as I prepare for the show!

Here is a few things I've worked on the last few weeks...

I've been making a ton of "Washer Necklaces." Just one of many Upcycle projects I've been working on.

I've been baking a lot. Cupcakes have been my favorite thing to make recently, but I've been making a lot different breads too. These are my snickers cupcakes:

Lastly, I've been working with adding some metal art to my vinyl work. This is my first attempt at that. The butterflies are metal flashing I cut out and colored, and the rest is vinyl.

I put this vinyl up awhile ago, and it's so simple but it's one of my favorite things i've done. I already had those cube's on the wall that I had recieved as a gift. I decided they needed a little something. So, of course I added my favorite saying. Live Laugh Love and when I found that leaf I couldn't help but add that too!

This is something I made awhile ago, and just never took a picture of it. Now that I finally did...here it is! :) This turned out really cute, and was actually really simple. It is just a canvas board and I rubbed an ink pad all over it. The flowers are actually cut out of a patterned scrapboooking paper and attached with brads. Very simple but looks great hanging in my scraproom. I made 3 others to that i'll have to try to remember to take a picture of!

I needed something to keep Miley's dog treats in. When I found this glass jar I instantly had an idea to add the vinyl and had to buy it. I went right home & added the vinyl. It turned out really cute, and now I have promised to make 2 more for other people. I really need to get taht done! :)

More Vinyl...

As I mentioned perviously I have been working on some more vinyl orders. I met the owner of Rudy's Taco's in DeWitt when doing some other vinyl work for him. He was getting ready to add an ice cream machine to Rudy's and wanted to advertise that on his building. He came up with a name & I gave him a few ideas to pick from. I finally got them done & installed last week. I'm really happy with how they turned out. They look great.
